ARCHDALE, NC (March 15, 2007)- Earl Pearson Jr. and the Bobby Labonte Racing Team will travel to North Georgia Speedway in Chatsworth Georgia on Friday for a $3,000 to win unsanctioned 40-lap feature event. North Georgia Speedway will hold a Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series event later this year and Earl and the team wanted to get some track time there to better prepare for the Lucas Oil Series event. Earl and the team will then travel to Cleveland Speedway in Cleveland Tennessee on Saturday March 17th for the O'Reilly Southern All Stars sanctioned event the "Shamrock 60". Earl and the team competed in Columbus Mississippi at Columbus Motor Speedway this past weekend in two separate events.  On Friday Earl qualified 8th fastest and was in line to finish in the top 5 until a broken rack on the last lap regulated Earl to a 17th place finish. On Saturday Earl would set the fastest lap in qualifying out of the 49 cars entered in the $10,000 to win feature event. Earl would fall into third place at the start of the feature and began working on Shannon Babb for second place when disaster struck on lap 6 when a lapped car spun in front of Babb and Earl and with nowhere to go Earl crashed into the lapped car busting the radiator ending his night and finishing 21st.

"We had a really fast car all weekend at Columbus but suffered bad luck both nights. But we feel confident when we go back for the World of Outlaws Late Model sanctioned event that we will have a good chance of winning that event. We'll head to Georgia and Tennessee this weekend and try and put the LifeLong Locks Mastersbilt Chassis in victory lane", stated Earl from his home in Florida.
