ARCHDALE, NC (January 28, 2007)- Bobby Labonte Racing has launched their new dirt late model team website loaded with information about driver Earl Pearson Jr., team sponsors, 2007 schedule and links to the merchandise store to purchase both Bobby Labonte merchandise and new 2007 Earl Pearson Jr. merchandise. Bobby Labonte has also released the first pictures of the new team colors for the dirtcar and the team transporter. LifeLong Locks colors will adorn the car and will be the primary sponsor of the dirt team for 2007. Three time dirt late model national champion and 2006 World 100 champion Earl Pearson Jr. will drive for Bobby Labonte Racing and will defend his 2006 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series National Championship in 2007. Earl will try to become the first dirt late model driver to win four straight national touring series championships in a row.

2000 NASCAR Champion Bobby Labonte will field cars for his dirt late model team out of his shop in Archdale North Carolina. Jason Fitzgerald will again be Earl's crew chief with additional crew members Matt Langston, Regan Cobb and Ben Harrison turning wrenches on the cars in 2007. Several changes will take place for Earl Pearson Jr. in 2007 including a new make of car, a Dodge Charger, and a new number 44 instead of the familiar number 1 that Earl has been associated with over the past seven years while driving for Dunn-Benson Ford Motorsports. "I am excited to get started in 07 with our new team with Bobby Labonte. I am very grateful for the opportunity Carlton and Kemp Lamm gave me over the past seven years.
